Hours of Operation and Vacation
The hours of operation are 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We will be closed on holidays and weekends.
Forest Park Childcare will be closed on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day New Brunswick Day
Family Day Labor Day
Good Friday Truth and Reconciliation Day
Easter Monday Thanksgiving Day
Victoria Day Remembrance Day
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
There will be no reduction in fees for these days. In addition, when a holiday falls on a weekend it will be observed on the Friday or the Monday of that weekend.
We will remain open on storm and other school cancellation days.
*Please Note: We will always remain flexible enough to respond to the needs of the community in which we serve. Therefore, depending on the demand, our services may be amended to further meet your needs.
Each year we will be taking eighteen paid vacation days of which you will be given ample notice. We will also have three emergency paid days to be used as needed throughout the year. You will not be financially responsible for any additional time taken off above and beyond these twenty-one days.
Childcare Rates
We are designated, which means parents are eligible for the $18 a day up until school age. (Birth up until June of the year kindergarten begins.)
For school-aged, fees are as follows and includes snacks scheduled for the time they are here

Fee Payment Schedule
All payments are to be received bi-weekly on or before 5:00 pm on the Friday prior to the weeks of care offered. Alternate payment arrangements may be discussed. Failure in payment will result in a late payment charge of $20 per day. As well, services will be suspended and regular charges will continue to apply until payment is made. All fees are to be paid in full regardless of illness, vacation, holidays, brief periods of closure (e.g. extended hours of power loss; severe storms), etc.
If fees go unpaid for 1 week without special permission, you will be issued a 2 weeks’ notice written notice of termination of services.
A late pick up fee of $15 for the first 10 min. late, and $1 per minute following per child will apply. Payment for late pickup is due the following morning.
Cash and e-transfer are both accepted.
Receipts will be provided annually or when services are rendered no longer necessary.
