Philosophy

Welcome to Forest Park Childcare where our goal is to create a second home for your child. As parents, we know how important it is to have a child care provider who will take the time to educate and develop your child, as well as create a fun, and most importantly, safe atmosphere.

Forest Park Childcare provides a positive, stimulating environment and structure that is conducive to the total development of all children. We operate our business as we do our home where we do not discriminate on the grounds of race, ancestry, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ability, language, or social and economic status. Rather, we embrace diversity! All children are welcome, supported, and valued, and provided with the opportunity to take part in every activity, routine, and learning opportunity.

We provide an early learning curriculum based around the NB Curriculum Framework, combined with learning through play. Our days are carefully planned in accordance with the NB Curriculum Framework with the ideas of the children at the core of it. We offer a full curriculum program as part of the daycare day within a home environment.

With growing concerns for lack of physical activity in our youth, we are proud to promote health and nutrition, as well as many different forms of physical exercise. We also expose your child to plenty of learning activities, both physical and mental, aiding in cognitive and emotional development.

We believe each child is an individual who deserves to be recognized and respected for all the wonder that they are!

LICENSE TO OPERATE AND DESIGNATION

Forest Park Childcare is licensed by the New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

As such, we operate in full compliance with the Licensing Regulation under the Early Childhood Services Act.

Forest Park Childcare is licensed as a Designated Early Learning and Childcare Home and cares for up to 6 children including the children of the operator.
